In the middle of the Propaganda Station, Jonas Staal's installation as a foreign guest of this year's Jindřich Chalupecký Award, is located School of Propaganda. As part of this platform, during the exhibition, meetings with expert, activist and organizing circles take place with the aim of jointly analyzing the tools and forms of contemporary propaganda and at the same time experimenting and educating themselves in the methods of (anti)propaganda.

The school will be implemented in several dates. On Thursday 2/11, we will have a day-long meeting in the presence of Jonas Staal and local hostesses and guests. The first section will explore the topic of propaganda from the perspective of media images and (dis)information through the contributions of Andrea Průchová Hrůzová and Jan Bělíček. The afternoon with Eliška Koldová and Andrea Tobolová will be dedicated to issues of gender and violence, populist feminism and women's autonomy. The final part of the program will also feature the Macedonian curator Ivana Vaseva from the organization Faculty of things that can't be learned, who will present Jonas Staal's project in Skopje next year.

During the exhibition two more sections dedicated to climate propaganda and the topic will be presented within the School of Propaganda anti-Roma propaganda and forms of resistance to it.

The Jonas Staal project, including the School of Propaganda programme, takes place as part of the international project Islands of Kinship: A Collective Manual for Sustainable and Inclusive Art Institutions and is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture, the statutory city of Ostrava, the State Fund for Culture, the European Union and the Modriaan Fund, Amsterdam.
